What makes me mad is when people say Klaine isn’t going to be remembered after Glee ends.

Oh yeah? Well, how about all the LGBTQ people they’ve helped and inspired? Do you think they’re going to forget about it?

Yes, I can safely say that, as a bisexual transman, I have been deeply inspired by the abusive relationship of Klaine. A relationship that says that cheating is fine and that no matter what you may feel, you should stay with someone that cheats on you.

Oh, and as long as you aren’t in anyway effeminate you’ll get what you want and who you want cause you’re the “Alpha Gay”

When Glee ends I won’t remember Klaine. I’ll remember Kurt and the struggles that he’s had to go through, the pain he’s endured and overcome and came out of all the stronger.

I’ll remember Dave Karofsky, the confused boy that hated who he was and struggled with his own identity like so many out there. Who showed that life might push you down but things can get better and there are people that love you and want to see you happy even if others don’t want to give you that chance.

I’ll remember Noah Puckerman, who had started as just another bully but changed and showed that no matter what, it’s not too late to be a better person and make amends with those that you might have hurt in the past.

I’ll remember Rachel Barbra Berry, the driven girl that would stop at nothing to get to Broadway. Brittany S, Pierce, the girl that believed that anything is possible and saw the good in everything. Finn Hudson, who broke away from the mold and stopped being a member of the high school flock so that he could make his own decisions.

I’ll remember them and all the others; Mercedes, Santana, Quinn, Artie, Becky, Sam, all of them.

But I won’t remember Klaine. Because I don’t want to ever remember something as toxic as that.

I don’t get why RIB has intentionally ignored Dave.

Numerous television critics have praised the Kurt/Karofsky scenes: their chemistry, the good acting; their scenes regarded as “highlights” of the episodes.

People associated with the Emmy Awards said Chris and Max had done “stellar work” on Glee together.

Numerous comments on entertainment websites show that viewers support the idea of a Kurt/Karofsky union. (And I don’t mean sites where certain fans can click “dislike” until they remove those comments. Those sites don’t count. Look at sites where viewers can’t delete posts.)

Ratings have dropped drastically since they decided to heavily feature Blaine and Klaine. They’re not getting awards. They’re not even getting nominated now.

So WHY have RIB intentionally chosen to ignore this? WHAT is making them knowingly destroy their show?

None of this makes sense. What is going on?

My opinion?

Fox Executives, split priorities, lack of direction/vision, and a constant pandering to a fanbase full of crazy, overentitled people. 

8 scenes in which Chris and Max’s chemistry blew me away

While I don’t tech ship Kurtofsky, and there was part of Dave’s backstory that was pretty shallow. Max was fantastic and perfect and Dave’s struggle was lovely and tragic. Their scenes were always near flawless.

I find it funny (in a sad way) how Dave fans just want to see Dave actually be happy and able to accept himself (and not in a fantasy).

And then there’s Blaine stans who beg Ryan to make Blaine depressed/suicidal/self-loathing. (Of course Dave’s storyline involved these exact emotions, but that just didn’t work for these people seeing as how compassion can only be given to those they find hot.) 

Yet we will never see Dave happy.

But I guarantee you blangst galore is coming up. 

Glee Apologies

Let’s compare apologies made by guys from main Kurt-ships:

(Some are TO Kurt, some to another, but shows HOW they apologize when they’ve wronged someone.)

Finn:

Theatricality (S1x20)*: ” I want to thank you, Kurt. I realize I still have a lot to learn. But the reason I’m here right now… in a shower curtain… is because of you. And I’m not going to let anyone lay a hand on you!”

“… But we’re all freaks together and <looks fondly at Kurt> we shouldn’t have to hide it.”

Here, while Finn doesn’t explicitly say the words “I’m sorry”, his actions and the words he does say speak much louder. And not a single ounce of Kurt-blaming to excuse his behavior, quite the contrary.

Furt (S2x8):

“And today a new union was formed: Furt. You and me, man. We’re brothers from another mother. And quite frankly, no one else has shown me as much as you about what it means to be a man. And over the past few weeks… uh.. some stuff’s gone down and I haven’t manned-up like I should. From now on, no matter what it costs me, I got your back.” (Then serenades Kurt with “Just the Way You Are”, dances with him, and hugs him in front of everyone.)

Again, the words “I’m sorry” aren’t always needed when the words used say so much more and the actions speak so much louder.

Karofsky:

Prom Queen (2x20):

<breaks down> “I’m so… so freaking sorry, Kurt. I’m just… so sorry for what I did to you.”

(Actions:) “… Remember, you wait for me here, right.”

Karofsky’s apology is a to-the-point one, owning his wrongs simply and sincerely, and brokenly. He’s also putting deeds to his words by his dedication to Kurt’s protection.

On My Way (3x14):

Kurt: “I should have returned your calls.”

Dave: “Why would you after the way I treated you.”

Kurt: “It’s okay.”

Dave: ” No, it’s not okay. Like you said on Valentine’s day, I made your life a living hell for months…”

Again, Dave OWNS it. He refuses to let Kurt dismiss the things Dave had done to him in the past, even though he and Kurt are on good terms.

Well since you were listing apologies to others, Puck did apologize to Rachel about the whole slushie thing once he got a taste of it. He was deeply affected in that scene.

They hand-waved it away.  All it took was a little guided imagery, and everything’s better!  Happy ending!
